Mendocino Coast Audubon Society
The mission of the Mendocino Coast AudubonSociety (MCAS) is to help people appreciate and enjoy native birds and to conserve and restore local ecosystems for the benefit of native birds and other wildlife.The Mendocino Coast Audubon Society conducts many birding field trips throughout the year. Every month two Bird Walks are held at the Mendocino coast Botanical Gardens, led by an MCAS member. These are scheduled year round on the first saturday at 9:00 AM and on the third Wednesday at 8:00 AM, light rain or shine. MCAS also sponsors pelagic birding trips from Noyo Harbor each spring and fall. Visit their website to view the full calendar of events.

Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens
Year round, light rain or shine, leaders of the Audubon Society take small groups on an easy stroll through the Gardens to the Headlands beyond 18220 N Highway 1 Fort Bragg. Free with Gardens admission. The first Saturday of each month 9:00 am The third Wednesday of each month at 8:00 am. Also check out the Audubon website www.mendocinocoastaudubon.org
