Mushroom Walks with Docent at Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens

- Join a staff Naturalist Mario Abreu on a weekly Monday walk for mushrooms throughout the Garden.
Staff Naturalist/Gardener, Mario Abreu will lead mushroom walks every Monday, November 12th through December17th at the Gardens. Mushroom identification, biology, edibility, myths and the good times that all come along with a mushroom walk will be included. Warning: exposure to the mushroom world can be habit-forming!
Weather permitting; come prepared for wet, off-trail hiking.

Festival of Lights at Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens

- Join us at the 3rd Annual Festival of Lights where thousands of lights transform Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens into a magical Winter Wonderland. Come! Bring the kids and join the festivities… and take care of all of your holiday shopping.

Holiday Craft Faire

- Come to a free Holiday Craft Faire at Fort Bragg Middle School. Many different crafters will be present all day and night from 10am-9pm. In the evening there is a pops concert in the auditorium with 5 performing groups guaranteed to get you in the holiday spirit. And there is a "Pictures with Santa booth" from 6-7pm and again at the Pops intermission.

- Come and join us as the Inns on the coast put on their best holiday finery. This year Mendocino Unified School district enrichment program ( MUSE) will be the sole beneficiary. What a wonderful way to bring in the holiday season and help our local school children. Mendocino on Thursday December 13 in Mendocino. Friday December 14 in Fort Bragg and Saturday December the 15th in Little River and Albion. Each evening from 4:00-7:00 pm Ticket price is $25.00 to cover all three nights inclusive

Christmas Train

Family Holiday Pops Concert

- Les Pfutzenreuter conducts the Symphony Pops Orchestra in a fundraiser concert at Cotton Auditorium, with special guests, In The Mix, The Acafellas, & Sine Nomine. There will be prizes and surprises, a visit from Santa, your favorite holiday music and a Hallelujah Chorus sing along. Festivities begin at 6pm and the Concert at 7 pm.
