Mushroom Walks with Docent at Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens

- Join a staff Naturalist Mario Abreu on a weekly Monday walk for mushrooms throughout the Garden.
Staff Naturalist/Gardener, Mario Abreu will lead mushroom walks every Monday, November 12th through December17th at the Gardens. Mushroom identification, biology, edibility, myths and the good times that all come along with a mushroom walk will be included. Warning: exposure to the mushroom world can be habit-forming!
Weather permitting; come prepared for wet, off-trail hiking.

Festival of Lights at Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens

- Join us at the 3rd Annual Festival of Lights where thousands of lights transform Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens into a magical Winter Wonderland.
Come! Bring the kids and join the festivities… and take care of all of your holiday shopping.
Open every evening:
Monday - Thursday 5:00 - 7:30 pm
Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5:00 - 8:00pm
KIDS FREE - 15 & under (children must be accompanied by an adult)
Tickets $5 Monday - Thursday. Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays $10

Holiday Lights Parade & Celebration Note date change

- The beloved seasonal celebration is sponsored this year by the Fort Bragg Volunteer Fire Department and the North Coast Rodders Car Club this year. Be sure to give them a big thanks!
5pm: Festivities begin when Santa and Mrs. Claus visit with the children and pass out cookies and candy at the Guest House
Museum.
– Local musicians and community groups entertain with carols and traditional Christmas music. 6:00PM Fort Bragg High School, Chorus

6:40PM Gloriana - break around 6:50 for Mayor lights the tree, then back to Gloriana until 7
The Mayor officially lights the giant tree on the lawn of the Guest House Museum.
7pm: The Holiday Lights Parade will illuminate downtown Fort Bragg!
