Date of Event: January 18, 2013 Title : Writers of the Mendocino Coast, with guitarist David Brown Description : To open the 2013 season, Mendocino Stories & Music Series will present eight Writers of the Mendocino Coast on Friday, January 18 at the Mendocino Hotel. David Brown, eclectic guitar wizard, will open the evening at 7PM and the readings will begin at 7:30PM. Writers of the Mendocino Coast is a gathering of local writers who have established a Mendocino branch of the California Writers Club, the oldest professional writers club in the United States. The Mendocino Coast branch supports local writers of all stripes and ages, from beginners to professionals, all genres, all forms. Featured writers for the evening are - Gloria Schoofs Jorgensen, Tony Camarda, Holly Tannen, Jewels Marcus, Lew Mermelstein, Sharon Bowers, Jan Edwards and patty Joslyn. All Ages Welcome! Doors open at 6PM for bistro menu and drinks. Admission $10.
