Free!
Thursday, October 11 in the Abalone Room, Little River Inn at 6:30p.m. with complimentary dessert and coffee.
In a co-presentation with Little River Inn, Mendocino Film Festival presents the 2010 Audience Choice Award winner, Between the Folds - a coastal event celebrating American Craft Week.
Directed by emerging filmmaker Vanessa Gould, BETWEEN THE FOLDS follows 10 origami artists as they reinterpret the world in paper. If not seen with your own eyes, it’s difficult to believe that the genius of the finished pieces is “only” folded paper! This documentary was a 2010 Peabody Award Winner and won the Audience Choice award and Best Film on the Arts award at our 2010 Film Festival.
"Probably the first documentary I've ever watched that I hoped would never end." — George Heymont, The Huffington Post
