Mendocino Stories & Music Series is a sponsor of this first event in the “Acoustic Kitchen Series”, events that raise money to improve kitchen facilities at MCC. Music starts at 7:30 PM at the Community Center located at the corner of School and Pine Streets in Mendocino. A lifelong Mendocino local, Morgan Daniel is known as the lead writer, arranger, guitarist and sometimes vocalist of bluegrass-esque ensemble Foxglove – four singers and songwriters with whom he's performed for several years. Fans know Morgan's intricate guitar arrangements and heartfelt songwriting are a major part of what makes the band shine. Marcus McCallen will open the show. His voice, along with an irresistible blend of folk, rock, country and blues, will get people’s toes tapping. A versatile singer and accomplished guitarist, he has shared the stage with Van Morrison, Jessie Colin Young, Chris Isaak, Jerry Jeff Walker, and many others. All Ages Welcome!
