Juriaan Blok Gallery Exhibit at the Mendocino Art Center

- Juriaan Blok’s work in his "New Perspectives in Aqueous Media" exhibition reflects his interest in aqueous media, especially India ink. Experimenting with traditional media on non-traditional surfaces, using new application techniques and drawing into the negative space has provided Juriaan with new methods for expressing his love for life on the North Coast.

Sea Kayak Rock Garden Class

- The Mendocino Coast has a beautiful and rocky coastline to explore by kayak. Liquid Fusion Kayaking has developed a systematic approach to teach paddlers to paddle confidently and comfortably in rock gardens and sea caves.
In this 6 hour course, paddlers will learn and apply concepts and skills for boat control and maneuvering around rocks and in sea caves, reading water, recognizing hazards, and safety and rescue techniques. $110/person Call for more information and reservations (707) 962-1623
