Percussion, Vocals, Dance, and COLOR, COLOR, COLOR! Viver Brasil is rooted in the traditional and contemporary forms and techniques of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, and embodies the beautiful and complex sacred stories of the Orixa, deities in Afro-Brazilian culture. Viver Brasil's performances are jubilant and explore Brazil's racial, social, and political history. Their programs are a living history of Afro-Brazilian dance, the Candomble ceremony, and Bahian Carnaval.
