• 10:00 am -4:00 pm : Mendocino Art Center's Members' Juried Exhibit [details] The Mendocino Art Center shines its Main Gallery spotlight on the all-media artwork of its contributing members in the "Members' Juried Exhibit,” including paintings, ceramics, sculpture, collage, wearable art, photography and more. • 6:00 pm -4:00 pm : Sea Kayak Full Immersion Weekend [details] Are you ready to step up your sea kayak skills? Then this 3 day intensive weekend is for you. This training will be based on participants interests and include boat master control, skills for paddling in moderate conditions, rock garden and coastal paddling, rescue and incident management, navigation and planning using the British Canoe Union's 3 Star Sea Syllabus as a guide. Sessions during this weekend will include on-water training in moderate water conditions and classroom sessions with navigation, theory, and video analysis. Lodging is included in this intensive weekend. All programs begin at 11:00 a.m.;weekends through March 17th. • 1:00 pm -2:30 pm : Junior Rangers - California Quail [details] Meet the park naturalist at the Laguna Point parking lot. Go for a short walk and learn about what animals and plants are found along this part of the Mendocino coast. This program will last about 1½ hours. Wear warm clothing.
