• 1:30 pm -3:00 pm : Mushroom Walks with Docent at Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens [details] Join a staff Naturalist Mario Abreu on a weekly Monday walk for mushrooms throughout the Garden. Staff Naturalist/Gardener, Mario Abreu will lead mushroom walks every Monday, November 12th through December17th at the Gardens. Mushroom identification, biology, edibility, myths and the good times that all come along with a mushroom walk will be included. Warning: exposure to the mushroom world can be habit-forming! Weather permitting; come prepared for wet, off-trail hiking.
